One of my favorite MTG cards is Dakkon Blackblade. I just think he's such a huge dork for changing his name to his sword because he thought it was so cool. I love it. I drew this for the release of Modern Horizons 3 in commemoration of him being part of the set. Done in Procreate.
Wander and Mono. Fanart of one of my favorite games, Shadow of the Colossus. Admittedly I drew this early on in my digital art journey. I am a little embarrassed by it, but you live and you learn. Done in Procreate.
I was once a co-host in a MTG podcast with my best friend at the time. Our mascot's name was Scoops and he is a mighty Storm Crow. Done in Procreate
My art friend group came up with a challenge to draw each other as Planeswalkers from MTG and to create decks based off of the cards we drew for each other. At the time, I was still pretty new and had little concept of power level balance so I made an incredibly bad, but strong card of my friend. It also didn't help that the two people I asked for advice greenlit my card, so to be fair, I totally thought it was balanced haha. Done in Procreate and Photoshop.
I did a drawing challenge with a friend where we drew characters everyday for a month. Sipping on some tea and reading books. Done in Procreate.
I wanted to make colorful bubbles, but I thought the cat was a nice touch. Not my cat, but they basically recoil the same way, so I guess totally my cat haha. Done in Clip Studio Paint.
I wanted to make a painting that works in both positive and negative. I was heavily inspired by one of my favorite artists, Little Thunder. Done in Procreate.
At least once in my life, I want to lie down in a field of poppies. Maybe I'll turn my backyard into a poppy field. Done in Procreate.
My husband and I wanted to be cute and hand draw our wedding invitations. I drew the header and wrote the English invitations while he translated it in Vietnamese for the family. Done in Procreate.
I've recently become obsessed with a new game and desperately needed to draw some quick fan art. Rafayel from Love and Deepspace. Done in Procreate.
Fish girl. I like to think of her as my persona. Done in Procreate.
I drew this for an art challenge I participated in August 2020. It's a spin off of the iconic Lofi Girl. Done in Procreate.
I drew fanart of Mona from Genshin Impact. I played pretty consistently when the game first came out, but eventually moved on to other games. Done in Procreate.
Alkep: One of seven angel designs created for a friend's game concept, Lay Thy Head. Alkep is the firstborn and was given the gift of human emotion and tasked with watching over the first humans in creation. We discussed what kind of character they are and ultimately landed on something that looks cute, and a little pathetic. I like to think of them as a sad boy. All of the angels have an eye motif. Done in Procreate.
Zetxel: One of seven angels created for a friend's game concept, Lay Thy Head. Zetxel is the second born and is gifted with human curiosity. They are tasked with teaching humans about the nature of The Light. We decided to give them a film real aesthetic to represent teaching through visual media. Personally, I just think flowing ribbons look cool. All of the angels have an eye motif. Done in Procreate.
Puppeteer. Done in Procreate.
Caleb and MC from Love and Deepspace. Done in Procreate.
I came across the cutest dating sim in quite some time called Homicipher where you date supernatural monster (?) boys. Mr. Crawling is my favorite. Done in Procreate.
Mr. Crawling from Homicipher as he tries to be cute for MC. Done in Procreate.
